SERIES HISTORY

• Missouri leads the all-time series with Rutgers, 2-0. The Tigers last faced the Scarlet Knights on March 17, 2017, in Clearwater, Florida, securing a 9-1 victory (five-inning run-rule).
• UCLA holds a 20-4 advantage over Missouri in the all-time series. The two teams last met on Feb. 27, 2022, with the Bruins earning a 7-5 win in Cathedral City.
• Missouri leads the all-time series with Baylor, 31-20. The teams last met at the 2024 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, where Baylor edged Mizzou 5-4 on Feb. 24, 2024.
• Minnesota leads the all-time series with Missouri, 11-7. The Tigers and Golden Gophers last met on Feb. 16, 2020, with Minnesota securing a 10-1 victory (six innings).
• Former Tiger, Laurin Krings (2021-24) joined the Golden Gophers staff as a Player Development Coordinator following her playing career at Mizzou.
• Oregon holds a 9-8 edge in the all-time series with Missouri. The Ducks last faced the Tigers on Feb. 25, 2023, with Oregon picking up a 6-4 win at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.

LAST TIME AT MARY NUTTER

• Missouri finished 3-2 at the 2024 Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic (Feb. 22-24).
• The Tigers opened the tournament with a 3-2 loss to San Diego State before bouncing back with a 3-2 win over Wisconsin.
• Mizzou swept Day Two, picking up a 5-1 win over UCF and a 3-0 victory against Cal State Fullerton.
• The Tigers wrapped up the Classic with a 5-4 loss to No. 22 Baylor.
• Alex Honnold had a standout performance going 4-for-4 against UCF with two doubles, two stolen bases and an RBI.
• Laurin Krings threw a complete game in the win over UCF, allowing just one run on six hits with five strikeouts.

SHRINERS CHILDREN’S CLEARWATER INVITATIONAL RECAP

• Missouri finished 2-3 at the 2025 Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational. The Tigers suffered a 9-1 loss to No. 8/9 Florida State in six innings before rebounding with a 10-6 comeback victory over Clemson.
• Mizzou fell to Ohio State, 7-2, before splitting the final day with a 5-3 win over Liberty and a 5-2 loss to San Diego State.
• Madison Walker had a career-best two home runs in the 5-3 win over Liberty. She leads MU with four homers (fifth in SEC) in 2025.
• Kara Daly added a solo home run in the fifth to help seal the win against Liberty.
• Catcher Julia Crenshaw led Missouri at the Invitational, batting .400 with two doubles, three RBI and a home run.
• Claire Cahalan also hit .400 over the tournament, while Kara Daly and Stefania Abruscato each hit .333.
• Taylor Ebbs and Kara Daly are both on four-game hitting streaks, while Stefania Abruscato and Claire Cahalan have reached base safely in four straight games.
• Missouri will return to the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational Presented by EvoShield in 2026.

UCF RECAP

• Missouri fell to UCF in extra innings (8) on Feb. 11, 6-5, in MU’s first midweek of the season.
• Mizzou jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning punctuated by a Kara Daly three-run homer down the left field line. The home run was the first of the season for Daly, a senior from Jefferson City, Missouri. Daly finished 2-for-4 with a season-best three RBI.
• Leadoff hitter and catcher Julia Crenshaw went 2-for-5 at the plate with a run, a double and a stolen base.
• Taylor Ebbs registered an RBI and a run.
• Abby Hay, Mya Dodge and Claire Cahalan each had a hit in the midweek.

JULIA CRENSHAW

• Senior catcher Julia Crenshaw batted .400 over the Clearwater Invitational with two doubles, three RBI and a home run.
• The Tigers leadoff hitter from O’Fallon, Missouri, is hitting .382 (.647 slugging/.500 on-base percentage) overall to pace Missouri with 13 runs and seven RBI.
• Crenshaw has notched two hits five times this season.
• She is two hits away from 100 in her career at Mizzou. Crenshaw also is at 82 career RBI.

CLAIRE CAHALAN

• Sophomore outfielder Claire Cahalan matched a career-high two hits (second time in 2025) against Clemson, finishing the tournament hitting .400.
• Cahalan, a Dadeville, Alabama, native, had back-to-back triples against Northwestern and Duke over the 2025 NFCA Leadoff Classic.
• She is hitting .375 in 2025, good for second on the squad. Cahalan is third in the SEC (seventh in the NCAA) with two doubles.

KARA DALY

• Senior third baseman/shortstop Kara Daly hit .333 over the Clearwater Invitational, including a solo home run in the win over Liberty.
• She also drove in a season-best three RBI in Mizzou’s extra-innings battle with UCF.
• Overall, Daly is batting .344 this campaign.
• She is 20 runs away from 100 in her career at Mizzou.
• In her career, Daly has hit 32 homers. With four more, she will break into Mizzou’s top-10 for the category.

MARISSA MCCANN

• Sophomore right hander Marissa McCann improved to 3-0 in the circle after throwing a complete-game (second of the season, sixth in SEC) win over Liberty.
• She allowed zero earned runs on three hits with three strikeouts in the victory.
• McCann is limiting opposing batters to a .238 batting average with a 2.15 ERA and 16 strikeouts.
• She surpassed 100 career innings pitched in the win over Clemson.

STEFANIA ABRUSCATO

• Sophomore outfielder/catcher Stefania Abruscato notched a career-best three RBI in the win over Clemson.
• She hit .333 over the 2025 Clearwater Invitational with two doubles and three triples.
• Abruscato wrapped the Invitational, 2-for-2 with a double and a walk against San Diego State.
• She ranks eighth in the SEC with four doubles and is hitting .355.

PERSONAL MILESTONES

• Senior Taylor Ebbs is four hits away from 100 in her collegiate career. The Keizer, Oregon, transfer, is also eight RBI from 100 in her collegiate career.
• Starting pitcher Cierra Harrison is 1.2 innings away from 200 in her career at MU. The junior from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, is also one win from 25 and has accumulated 177 strikeouts in her career.

LARISSA ANDERSON

• Head coach Larissa Anderson picked up her 350th career win with a 10-3 victory over Duke on Feb. 8. Anderson was also inducted into the Gannon University (Erie, Pennsylvania) Athletics Hall of Fame that same day.
• She led the Tigers to a top-10 (#7) finish in 2024, an NCAA Super Regional appearance and the team’s second Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship appearance in three seasons.
• Anderson is currently in her seventh season at Mizzou, holding a 223-120 record.
• Mizzou’s 48 wins in 2024 are the most for Anderson at the helm of Missouri.
• She signed an extension with Mizzou through 2028 over the fall.

MIZZOU NOTES

• Mizzou is coming off an impressive 2024 that saw the Tigers earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament for the 17th consecutive year (27 total regional appearances). MU made its 10th Supers appearance in program history in 2024.
• The Tigers totaled 48 wins (48-14, 13-11 SEC) in 2024, their highest total in the program’s SEC era and fourth most in program history. Missouri’s 13 SEC wins in the 2024 campaign are the most since 15 in 2021.
• The Tigers return six starters from the 2024 NCAA Super Regional team including SEC All-Defensive right fielder Kayley Lenger, NFCA All-Region first baseman Abby Hay along with catcher Julia Crenshaw and third baseman Kara Daly.
• Mizzou added 10 newcomers including seven freshmen and three transfers for the 2025 season.
• Missouri returned the 11th best team ERA (2.03) in 2024 led by starters Cierra Harrison and Marissa McCann along with NCAA saves leader Taylor Pannell.
• Missouri ranked fourth in the NCAA in 2024 with an average attendance of 2,784. In the postseason, MU had the highest home attendance of Regionals (10,016) and Super Regionals (11,608, MU record). Mizzou set single-game (4,021, vs. Duke, May 26, 2024) and single-series attendance records over the postseason weekends.
